Nitrous Nozzles

The patented Edelbrock/Steele Series 1 nozzle is one of the most advanced in the industry. With it’s unique fuel passage design, this nozzle gives extremely high atomization and is the key to the outstanding performance of the Edelbrock/Steele Nitrous Kits. One of the most effective ways to increase atomization is to increase the fuel pressure. Incorporating this exclusive design, the Series 1 nozzle allows the use of 60 lbs. of fuel pressure… over six times higher fuel pressure than the competition… for a more complete burn process in the combustion chamber that results in more horsepower. Specially designed fuel outlets enhance atomization, even at lower fuel pressures. Multiple radiuses are used at the nitrous outlet to give the least amount of turbulence and a more precise nitrous spray. The unique fuel delivery angle ensures a complete mixing of nitrous and fuel for optimum atomization.

Super Victor Kits are designed to produce maximum power in a single stage set-up, while Victor Kits use smaller solenoids, lines and jetting and are perfect for multi-stage installations. Billy Glidden Reports, “Quicker and Faster than Ever Before…” “Before we switched to the new Edelbrock/Glidden Nitrous Nozzles, we would only get one race on the engine before we’d kill some parts. The old nozzles we were using relied on the nitrous plume to try to atomize the mixture, but the result was that the nitrous would actually limit or shut off the fuel flow, so you’d really have to be on top of your tune-up. These new nozzles are so tuner friendly, we can make good power without hurting parts, and the system responds well to minimum changes in the tune-up. The Edelbrock/ Glidden nozzles pre-atomize the fuel before it’s mixed with the nitrous, producing a better, more homogeneous mixture. We now have five races on the Pro 5.0 car without taking the engine apart, and still have good crankcase vacuum at the finish line. With the black car (world’s quickest Fox-body Super Street Outlaw car with a 7.51 @ 188.99 mph on 10.5 tires), we put 45 runs on it before taking it apart.
